Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Perseus Pisces (the “Software”) and this website. By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. The Software
Perseus Pisces is an open-source, cross-platform desktop automation agent that captures the screen and synthesizes human-like mouse and keyboard input to record, replay, and execute tasks on your own computer. It is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms and the project’s open-source license.
2. Open source
The source code is published at github.com/DebajyotiSaikia/computer-use. Your use, modification, and redistribution of the code are governed by the license terms accompanying that repository.
3. Your responsibilities
The Software can control your computer and act on your behalf. You are solely responsible for how you configure and use it, including:
- Supervising automation runs and maintaining the action whitelist so the agent only performs actions you authorize.
- Complying with all applicable laws and with the terms of service of any website, application, or service you automate.
- Ensuring you have the right to access and operate the systems and data the Software interacts with.
You must not use the Software to violate the rights of others, to circumvent security or access controls without authorization, to send spam or malware, or for any unlawful purpose.
4. Third-party services
The Software can connect to large language model providers and other services that you configure (for example, via the Model Context Protocol). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and pricing, and you are responsible for any keys, costs, or data you send to them. Downloads and releases are distributed through GitHub.
5. No warranty
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Automation is inherently risky; the authors do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or that it will not take unintended actions.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the author be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or systems, arising out of or related to your use of the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Software after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
